Project History
With an estimated generation capacity of up to 821 MW, upon its completion, Buckheart Solar stands to become one of the largest solar farms in the United States, providing consistent income regardless of weather, for decades to come. It will also help advance Illinois’ ambitious climate goals by injecting significant portion of renewable electric power into the grid.
